No, Texas lost to Tech fair and square. But if you watch teams week in and week out, you begin to get a feel for just how good (or bad) the teams really are as well as their strengths and weaknesses. If you knew the teams that well, you would know that Texas beating OU was no fluke.

...and a quick word of advice: if you insist on referring to our school in the lowercase, leave the "T" capitalized; otherwise you're insulting your own state (why do you think we refer to you guys as aTm?).

You are exactly right and will get no argument from me there. I've said more than once that I penalized Texas more for not showing against Tech until well into the 3rd quarter (last week of a 4 game slam or not) than OU losing to Texas. But by the same coin, OU played great against Texas, Texas just played better.

Texas did play better on that day, but towards the end of the season voters seemed to think OU got better than texas. No real argument there.

I like how you say they still lost to Tech, guess what OU still lost to UT.
Says the typical UT fan. Did you not read my post were I noted and even congratulated UT for their win over OU? All I was saying is that UT lost to Tech, and if UT was such the great team you think they are then Tech should have been a easy team to dominate (since OU sucks so bad in your mind, and OU dominated Tech). And for 11 victories uhm did you look at OU's stats they have the same. I am not here to **** in your cup and say UT sucks, all I am saying as that things happened the way they did and you lost to Tech which is why you are all down on the list. There is always next year when we can bitch about this again when OU and UT play again (expect a OU victory BTW) and we can all sit around the table at BW3's and drink a pint.

Actually, it looks like it was UT fans trying to keep the controversy going:

http://www.kvue.com/news/top/stories....2ead7f29.html

He says the people who hired him are UT fans, but says they specifically asked him not to identify them publicly. He says the entire flight cost about $2,200.

Classless x 2

T-sips never cease to amaze me with how low they will stoop

Man I feel embarrassed for UT fans, and that means ALOT coming from an OU fan and Alumni. Disgraceful.

Either way it is not needed. I would be willing to bet they aren't UT fans, maybe not OU fans either, probably some missouri fans hopping OU looses focus.

OU has a history of losing focus. I just hope Stoops can keep the players out of the titty clubs and bars the night before the game...
