I also would like some input on a good roofing company in the area. I know there are many of us on here that have already or are in the process of getting a new roof. Anyone have any suggestions whether positive or negative about different companies??

Right now most roofing contractors have more work than they can keep up with. Let me give you an example. In Central Texas a friend just had a roof put on a small 1 story and it was about $70/square. Right now in Houston a 1 story house is running about $270-350/square.

You are competing with everyone who is working with insurance companies trying to get their storm damage taken care of.

That being said, I would recommend
Rios Roofing (281) 383-3388
Chatham Construction (281) 427-3838
Brinkman Roofing (281) 218-0090

I work in commercial construction and I needed something done at an old job and called one of our many roofers and they said 90 day wait.

Like stated above if you don't desperately need a roof rt now wait. There is still a lot of storm damage repairing going on. the building i am repairing is still in the process of getting the roof.

My father and some other people have had good experience with Rodriguez roofing but that was years ago and things could of changed.

Thanks guys for all the input, keep them coming. I know all the roofers have more work than they can keep up with but I can't justify paying the quotes that I have been getting. I might have to hold out until it calms down some.

ever think of picking up one of those guys from the Home depot parking lot, take a translator though some of those guys are laid off and have done that type of work. but beware some are lazy bums and dont know what they are doing. theyll work for an hourly pay.
