what about this statement? They issue 2 when you register the car.
A person may operate
on a public highway a vehicle that displays two license plates if
both plates were assigned by the department for the registration
period as a set of plates.

hear this rumor every year. its not going to happen. no front plate would make it hard for those cameras to catch people running a red light right$? Plus it gives cops and excuse to pull you over if you dont have it up. There are two big reason$ why it wont pass.

Do not worry..... Texas will not be able to afford making the second plate..........We will only have one plate because of the economy
