Default Need a custom paint opinion.....

Just got new wheels for the goat, now am considering doing something with the paint to set it apart even more. Dont wanna do stripes or true flames (that fad is out.....lol....) but am considering some ghost flames.

Question being about how much am I looking at for a good job? Quality > Price definately when it comes to my paint.

And anybody have a shop they reccomend?

Nice wheels. They are a very Euro style wheel, not sure how well they would match up with flames. Maybe some matte black hood/trunk stripes with a single color border around the stripes to break them up? Ghost stripes perhaps. Or, a two-tone charcoal gray over black paint job, maybe with a red pinstripe to separate the colors.

Take a look at the SEMA pics TONY took in NOV. to get some ideas.

Matte/flat finishes-accents are whats in right now, not to mention the pinstripe separation.

Needs a big rainbow painted on it.

More appropriate if you knew the owner.

Jimmy, is your pig back up and running? Or is it just still your mouth that is turning 7K RPM?

Get that motor finished and bring the car out to the meets. I don't have anything for it right now, but I'll still talk ****.

Cool Amazing Paint/Body shop in Bruceville, tx.

Hey man, there is a retired local guy here in bruceville that is addicted to paint and matching/restoring older cars. He truely puts the Liquidity into the car. No comparison to any other paint/body shop I know. He does most of the local 'high end' jobs on shelby cobras, factory restorations for all the 70s back. After a car comes out of his shop, it looks better than it did off the show room floor! His name is Pat Pritchet. Phone number: 254-723-3431

The Blue Beast is DONE. Stick a fork in her. The motor let loose last week while racing Machine and Monster05. I think I spun a rod bearing. I would throw that motor through the front window of the shop that built it, except that they are out of business (partly because they started screwing up so many motors). Only 1800 miles and 20 passes. F me.

Some blue ghost flames would be nice on the Goat. Is it back together and running?
