Texans stink it up!!!
No excuses. They played like **** and made oakland look like a play off team! Their run game sliced and diced the texans defense! The texans offense didn't look like it had any chemistry! I am a texans fan til the end but this is exactly the inconsistency that will keep us out of the playoffs! They need to get the stick out their *** and play like we know they can!!
Offense looked mediocre at best. You know it's a bad day when Andre Johnson only gets 2 catches for 19 yards. The defense looked like the garbage I took out this morning.
Also, I have said this in the past, but I believe Gary Kubiak might have a mild case of mental retardation. 3rd and inches on Oaklands 5 yard line and he calls a pass play. Nope...next play...4th and inches on the 5 yard line....ANOTHER PASS PLAY!!!WTF? Are you stupid?

In a way, this loss was a good thing. Had the Texans won out and gone 9-7, McNair would likely have left everything as it is and made a few minor tweaks to player personnel in the off season. With this loss, everyone is reminded how inept this coaching staff is, and that changes are NEEDED.
I don't think Kubiak should be fired, but it should be made very clear to him that next season is it for him. If he can't get the team to perform in 2009, he needs to go.
Either way, we need a new DC, and Kubiak needs to spend some time on the phone or in a classroom with a legitimate NFL coach, so he can learn about clock management, play calling decisions, and when to challenge.
