Me and the Gang will be there. Registered today. Gonna go out there and run it on one kit. Don;t want to blow it up before pinks LA the following weekend.

If im not mistaken its 9.00 or quicker in the 1/8 mile races...

I didnt go, but my buddy with a 6.0 powered 79 malibu went 7.5 and did not qualify, i think he said they went with a 6.9 group or something.

I went and made the final 16 cut in my group and then got eliminated. My car stood the front wheels up higher than it has ever before and it scared the crap out of me. I was looking at the clouds for about a second or two. I ended up losing the race by two hundredths of a second.

Talked to a buddy of mine Sat. night. He was picked, but not sure what he did yesterday. I believe he is driving the same car his brother drove a couple years ago at Baytown and won.

an old school full size chevy won it. a 73-87 style it was white. dunno any other details about it
