I sponsor Lonstar Muscle which is a fairly large club around the DFW area. We have meets every week and have 8 sponsors including myself. I think we are somewhere along 90 members right now. If you are interested check the sticky thread for LSM at the top of the texas members page.

I think that its just the DFW guys have a lot more going on and aren't available to participate in extracurricular activities....

Or the other conclusion is that Houston is better and it is just hard for me to comprehend such a travesty......

I have my own theories, but I'll keep them to myself.

Our meets are primarily the FW side of DFW. We try to keep current meet info in the first post of our thread. Anyone is welcome, just follow the rules.

That's the hard part about it. Fort Worth isn't very close for some of us sadly.

I guess the FW guys aren't as lazy as us Dallas folk.

Well guys, let's get something going. We've had a relatively good turnout when we go to Twin Peaks in Lewisville or Hooters in Frisco. However, this weekend is Playoff Football and for some of us, that is a priority. We could do a meet at noon on Saturday before the game or during. High of almost 60 on Sunday. Throw out some ideas guys!

This is a very true statement. We tried a meet at TwinPeaks and still got more participation from the FW guys than we did members in the area. We also have some members that regularly attend meets that live in DeSoto and Springtown so some people do some driving to make the meets.

I remember the Twin Peaks meet...we had maybe 6 cars there and 4 of them were from the Fort Worth area. LOL

I am down for a CENTRAL meet...however, weekends work the best for me...

Yeah I dont know what it is... I would get some meets going and no one would show up.
Well like cash said, there would be 5 or 6 ft worth guys.. so I dont know, but it seems like the most people all live in the ft worth side....

dallas guys will go to some meets, but not so many of them... not sure what the deal is.

What would be considered a central meeting place for the metroplex? Irving? If you guys are talking about a meet for "DFW" including the D part of it, then you still need to look out for the guys on the other side of Fort Worth. I can see a meet like this working maybe once a month like the First Sat. Hooters meets in Fort Worth, but probably no more than that. Those of us on the FW side wanted to do more than one meet a month, so we do it once a week in a fairly central area for those who actually attend. It works for us, and we even move it around occasionally to make it easier for other ppl every once in a while.
