Exactly. I was wondering where you got your info to know "the car was fucked up bad...." Was there pictures on the news or something?

I'm also interested if I recognize the car.

This is really sad, All the families will be in our prayers. The driver of the Cobalt has A Lot on his shoulders now but he has to pay for what he did by not driving responsible.

I know everyone has played on the street, NEVER drive at a high rate of speed in areas were anyone can pull out in front of you! Every now and then someone will want to test my car, if there is light traffic I might run it through 2nd gear and let out but I would NEVER run out 3rd where there is a possibility of someone pulling in front of me!

Take the street racing to the track or to the back roads to were all you are going to do is destroy your own property, not someone else's life!

There is no such place. No matter how far out in the middle of nowhere you think you are there is always the potential for innocent bystanders to get hurt on public roads. You should be telling them to take it to the track.

In general for GM - the data is 5 sec worth, and it is stored in the Air Bag Control module. No way to tune it out, you would have to remove parts of the airbag system (and run without air bags).

You are correct and I agree. I would just prefer if they are going to do it on the streets, cuz really we can't stop it, then take it out of town, away from civilization.
