Thanks for letting me and my little motor hang out with you guys. Buck and I agree, road race tires won't work for that car on a drag strip. The video that you got was me on low boost yet it was pretty much the same time as I was running with high boost, regardless of an additional 100 HP. I did eventually get a 7.7 but I had to do more of a man's burn out (instead of those little dinky ones I was doing). Some slicks or drag radials are on the way which should change those results drastically.

For clarification I was kneeling on the track next to the gaurdrail behind Matt on one of his launches, he "bobbed" the left front about an inch.

wow guys, way to put pressure on me ... naw, but for real, it'll happen... i think i just need to really hit it hard off the line. i'm pretty sure that on the run in question, i was behind a car with full slicks, so they might have put some hot rubber down for me.

FYI: sunday is superbowl. dont think there is going to be a track day... there are beers to drink

I know what you mean for the slicks.. there was one time my car hooked like a beast... then I seen the video and the car in front of me was laying down the rubber!!!!

well.... not 'jk'... i was launching around 5000-5500. i got a 12-bolt and a TDP clutch for a reason!

the only reason i cant launch more consistently, is because my rev limiter was increased, and i havent quite mastered the ability to roll to the 2nd stage light with the motor tached up to 6k without breaking the beams... i'm pondering a two-step so i can be more consistent.

Yea, I saw both those cars run. The yellow one threw a belt the one time I was capturing video so I deleted it.
