www.assassins317.tripod.com

my former team from Indy

I funded it, and went broke, but good news is 2 of my guys went on to play nationally during the 08 season..

As far as guns- my last one was a $1300 Eclipse Ego and not to mention pods, packs, hoppers, and nitrogen tanks, plus like 6 cases of paint for myself for a weekend.. Expensive as hell but fun as ****! lol
Oh- i'd also advise wearing a cup..

I am thinking of "pulling the trigger" on this one

http://cgi.ebay.com/Tippmann-X7-E-Gr...3A1|240%3A1318

Seems like a decent price from the research I have done and it comes with the Egrip and flatbarrel that everyone keeps talking about

What do you guys think?

It all depends on what king of playing your going do. Dont get this and plan to step on an Airfeild. This is more of a woods ball and rec ball gun. Me personaly i would get a new ion everyone dogs them in the speedball world. But you can play eveything with. I play rec, woods, speedball with my sl8r ego.

If I get into it Ill prob have one for each scenario

This would be a good entry level woodsball gun?

Seems like it already has all the stuff on it that everyone was talking about.

Yeah tipman guns are bad *** i still have my tipman 98 Custom. Theres a guy on pbscence sellin an x7 for $250 . His screen name is TOM.The x7 is a gas hog because teh cyclone feed works off the pressure of the gun. And get a date together when yall wana play. Ill have to bring out the pumps.

Woodsball is fun when your new, but speed ball is where its at. A lot more action. If you have the money (I'm sure you do) skip past the entry level guns like the tippman. You will just be wanting to upgrade the first time you play against someone with a better marker. Look in to Dye Matrix, Angel (what I have), Bob Long and other top brands. You will not be disappointed, just make sure you keep them very clean after playing.

Well....I got my bonus. Now just not sure the US Army Alpha Black Tactical is the way to go, some posts say it is a bitch to clean but I REALLY LIKE THE LOOK. I'm sure If i don't buy it today I will want it so bad later I will buy it anyway. I'm a "big" boy (fat beer gut) and not really interested in going pro or even having the most expensive gun w/all the bells and whistles, just something I like. I want to get out, run around, sweat and drink beer after.

People keep posting it is expensive, I'm trying to figure what is expensive about it once you have your gear, isn't it simply the cost of paintballs, gas and field fee?

umm

Unless you REALLY just want it to look like that i would just get a m98c or an A5 and do some actual performance upgrades instead of just making it look like a real gun.

Change it to a barrel or barrel kit so you get better accuracy from paint to bore match, electronic trigger to be able to shoot a little easier, high pressure regulator to be able to get away from C02 and add a little better efficiency and accuracy to the gun.

My $.02

it wouldnt be so bad if WDP didnt release a new gun every 2 months.

Makes a 2 year old gun you paid $2000 for worth about $400

force guns really only hold value to collectors and hardcore angel fans

I had a hell of a time selling some low numbered limited edition angel guns. Eventually i got decent value out of them.

In the end though, its just an Angel 4. lol

Well it is expensive when you play every weekend on a competative level, you got like $15field fee, gas, food, drinks, and like 4-5 cases of paint a day at $45 each...
