very good point Zac

I will look at all 3 runs and post them up or take a picture of the timeslip.

Here is the baytown pass:

R/T .023
60' 1.917
330 5.158
1/8 7.765
MPH 94.35
1000 9.992
1/4 11.828
MPH 118.06

That's pretty dead on for 118. Post up when you find the others.

Either way the car has a LOT left in it.

You're right, great ET but odd trap (esp. for a Viper)...

Here are the other timeslips

Baytown:

R/T .023
60' 1.917
330 5.158
1/8 7.765
MPH 94.35
1000 9.992
1/4 11.828
MPH 118.06

Sealy:

60' 2.24
330 5.59
1/8 8.13
MPH 97.15
1000 10.277
1/4 12.0
MPH 127.44

Sealy:

60' 2.33
330 5.89
1/8 8.49
MPH 93.54
1000 10.66
1/4 12.47
MPH 126.19

Sealy I was spinning alot more which could result in higher mph.

Seeing the 12.0 pass with 97mph trap in the 1/8 compared to the 94mph trap (where the hiccup was) could make up that difference.

3mph difference in the 1/8

Which in the end could result in a 3mph loss at the top end?

So the pass could have been an 11.5/6 @ 121/122 which would seem more accurate I think

Was there a head wind? Was the engine heat soaked or cool? I'd expect mid-high 120s out of that car unless the weather is terrible.

You forget who's driving T...

Sorry G...couldn't resist. Congrats on the new ride. Looks amazing...!! I haven't been on any of the boards for a couple of months with this PITA move we've been going through. Can't wait to see it and maybe see how the '09 runs...

I don't know man... These two runs are similar passing the 1/8th and the traps differ by 8 mph at the 1/4. I think you would notice something in your driving if that was the culprit. Have you tried resetting your computer? Maybe you had some bad gas and the car was down on / pulling power? As others have said, it could just be the equipment at hrp...

Had two other people that mentioned there speed was off 4 to 5 mph slower from HRP to sealy.

When we were at Sealy the DA was well into the negative. Sunday at HRP was 700+.

Only way to find out is to hit the track again

Im confident Ill hit low 11's on the 20's next time out.

DJ where you been!

Ben 126mph is more accurate

Not sure what the issue is but 1/8th mile mph on that one pass is only 93 yet it gained 32.65 mph past the halfway mark. (Way above average) Did you hit the wall then get back into it or what? That would have to be HUGE tire spin, or something else is VERY wrong.

Just to compare my Cobra has hit over 96 in the 1/8th, and we know my car is a turd get that thing back out and do a burnout for god sakes!!

here is my car in hot weather

60' 1.702
330' 4.761
1/8 7.284
mph 97.29
1000' 9.452
1/4 11.258
mph 125.34

here is yours. I don't know what could be the issue, but the 1/8 mph is low for a mid/high 120mph trap speed. I would just run it again to see what it does.

R/T .023
60' 1.917
330 5.158
1/8 7.765
MPH 94.35
1000 9.992
1/4 11.828
MPH 118.06

My neighbor just got the west nile virus from a mosquito bite. Think you can make a few laps around the shop to fog out the bugs...
