BEWARE of this area in Houston....... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you are in the Friendswood area around Bay Area Blvd and 528 or near there, there are a group of guys trying to carjack people with modded vehicles!! A friend last night was in that area picking someone up for work and they pulled guns on him trying to get his car. His car is turbo'd with a built bottom end and he hit the gas to get away.. While getting away he was spotted by a cop hauling *** ( clocked at 105 then ) and got pulled over, he explained what happened and the officer said there have been a few complaints of it, so he didnt get in trouble..
Discription of perps:
In a 2 door Chrysler (he thinks a sebring) that was black or a flat black. This happened around 11:00 pm so he couldnt tell. There were around 6 of them with guns.. This is all I know at this point but if in the area, BE AWARE of your surroundings!! Even if you are carrying your pistols, which my friend and I both do because this hasnt been the first attempted jackings for either one of us, just run and call the cops.. There are 6 of them and would rather nothing happen.....

I live right there by kroger. i stopped carrying my gun. i guess i should start again. there was a armed robbery and my apartment a few weeks ago. also the neighbor hood across the street has had a few houses broke into in the past few weeks.

I'll run, but only long enough to pull over a safe distance. Maybe I can put an end to this with the 100 round drum I'm packin..jackers beware of a red Trans Am................
wow, im right there at the mall right now....good thing i just moved from this area.....too much bs happening to us guys with nice cars...... that trash thinks they can roll up with guns.....ill run em over if i get the chance

I live right down the street from there in the Neighborhood that has had some trouble lately. Needless to say, I now set the alarm and my Rottweiler stays in the house all day. They are suppose to be putting a gate on my street as well as putting up some video cameras. Plus, the Police have been patrolling very often. After IKE hit, we have gotten some pretty shady characters on this side of Friendswood that have seemed to migrate North from Galveston into the apartments on the Northwest side of 528. Looks like we'll have to start paying more attention to what's going on around us. I carry at least one gun all the time. However, if 6 guys storm the car with guns...I think running is probably the smartest thing to do.
