Tune vs No Tune
Tune vs No Tune well, read my mods in my sig... i have no tune... work was done by RPM in lewisville... do you guys think i should get it tuned? if so, will my numbers go up noticably?? its $400 so idk what i should do, i love the car now, but if you guys say a tune will help alot, ill def do it.!!! thanks for yalls opinions!!
A tune is definitely worth it. Go back to RPM and let them put a tune on your car, those guys are good. Ive never personally seen anything bad in terms of installs or tuning come from that shop. They do top notch work. Spend the $400, you wont be disappointed.
Definitely a hp gain and a must after you get heads/cam. Not sure but last time I was down there I swore they said its a $50 fee for a retune. That was only to pay for dyno time, the retune was free.
Tunning is not just about peak numbers. Keep that in mind. I have seen some cars only gain 5 peak HP, but gain 10+ across the entire range.
Get it tuned. Then when you do heads/cam, it is free. (Except for dyno time)
It does make your car faster. Brian and Matt do a great job up there. Been going there for years for my car and my truck. Very pleased with both.

Those are killer numbers already, but might as well see what else you can squeeze outta her! Lifetime retunes mean everything, so if you have the money now i say go for it.

Well it just depends on what you have planned and how soon I think, and how close you are from whoever you choose to tune your car. I have full exhaust gears shift kit and I still haven't done a tune because of my location. And I am going to have a H/C install very soon so i'm going to wait until then but it really depends on your location and your plans IMO
