Need recommendations for garage floor coating and cabinets for new garage.

I wanted a black floor coating, but Gallant didn't have that color. The multi-color speckled finish would have cost me almost $4,000. Decided I'd rather buy a lift and look for other floor finish alternatives first. My garage is approx 850 sq-ft (4 car attached, oversize)

If you go on the garagejournal board, there are a whole bunch of people that put down this stuff. AlphaGarage on there is the distributor for it.

Neodamonkey-Looks ok. I know you don't really do to much work in that garage as the dark colors would make it pretty hard to see without a ton of light LOL! I thought about the checkerd look its just been worn out IMO. So I did the typical shop grey since I use mine a ton. Nice to see others garages.
The color actually is close to the color of the viper and i am installing a few rows of lights on the ceiling to make it a no issue

The walls look much darker in the pictures than they are in real life...it was taken with a camera phone with only one light on and no flash lol.

Jeff, my house garage will be my display case. I'm building a 40x60 shop out back to do the real work. The garage does have four large shop lights in it though, plenty of light to see.
I ordered 2 kits of black (with gray and white flakes) from this place, several guys have used it with excellent results on the Viper site:
www.epoxy-coat.com
Came out to $600 for two kits, enough to cover 1000 sq-ft. My garage is brand new, no stains yet, so prep will be minimal.

Ok, Brett came out last week, Thursday, and had the garage finished Sunday morning. Really great guy, can't say enough about him.
Day 1, applying the initial coat, a sealer:
Dat 2, applying the first coat of epoxy and then laying down the flakes, full broadcast:
Days 3 and 4, applying the final 2 coats of the epoxy:
It looks much better in person, obviously. I didn't think the cost was out of line in the least and would gladly do it again.

Looks REAL good! Yeah it just doesn't seem to come out the same when I do it myself LOL! And I like Brett he is down to earth and funny as hell! Don't know how much time you got to hang out with him as he is always a busy man etc... But he cracks me up when we get to talking. Looks great glad you were happy!

After:
The cabinets were donated by a friend and it was just a matter of getting them painted and situated where I wanted them. Unfortunately the top cabinets were a different width and there was no feasible way of making them look symetrical, not that I'm complaining.
