Saw the car this afternoon up on the dyno this morning getting some tuning done while i was up at LMR.
I was suprised it had as much lope as it did being a turbo car. Heck, the car would sound plenty mean without the turbos.
I'm sure that the word "absolutely sick" is the understatement of the year...

Its a mid 230's as I understand it. Which is small for a 440" motor. But it had plenty of "chop" sitting there idling. It sounds plenty, plenty mean. I didn't witness any power pulls, but the car defintiely couldn't be mistaken for stock while its idling...

The car sounds the way it does right now because the tune isnt dead on yet and it has no exhaust on it. It definately sounds more race than street right now. When the tune is done and exhaust is installed the car will sound alot more docile, but my want of a stock sounding idle went out the door awhile back.

I'm sure Joe can get the tune where you want it.
If the car was running without exhaust, then that would explain alot. But, I will say it sounded very good even without the exhaust on.

Ok guys, we made the first pull this morning. Looks like the torque converter is way to loose. Wastegate only(5.8lbs) she made 600rwhp. The car went to 7200rpms and only 104mph in third gear. Looks like we will be waiting on a new converter.

I would not expect too much for a 1300.00 intake. Most are seeing no gains unless the TB is backing it up and that still has not been tested just yet. Turbos may be a different story but this was info was taken from a N/A 454 LSX. Enjoy!!!
