Fund raising Ideas Hey I am trying to gather some ideas for fund raising for my student organization and thought LS1tech might have some good ideas of what yall have done or heard of that worked really well.
anyone have any badass ideas? so far we have a beater car that we might charge people to hit with a sledge hammer before baseball games for a tailgating event, but do yall have other good ideas, t shirt sales, cookout? im open to all suggestions.

car show. check with a local retail store to see if they would even donate gift cards of some sort as well. some may even let you have the show at their establishment just so that they have more customer flow. just my $0.02

Thanks yall, looking into the car wash might make alot of money, thanks charger r/t for the walgreens matching thing, i didnt know that, keep the ideas coming, car shows would be alright but theres not too many cars around here that i think would wanna participate I think that would benefit the universities local car club more (which i was in, but no longer) But i def will throw those ideas around with the other members.

car wash idea is verry good.
it usually takes about 5 mn to wash a car if you guys are busting ***, and people pay a minimum of $5 but I've payed as much as $20
you could potentially make about 150-200 dollars an hour depending on how many people are washing cars
try and stick to fast food places as they will make money also off your customers and your guys will probably get free food

Posters? Have NineBall take some high quality photos of some of the best cars, have them made into posters, charge enough to recoupe the cost of the printing and donate the rest. Or maybe even find a printer willing to donate in exchange for advertizing. Can even have the owners autograph and personalize the posters at the car show(s) for the kids.
