Pro Photo Shoot
Oh, and yes he knows about the poles growing out of the cars and he's working to shop those out of the final prints.

We took these Sunday evening just south of 290 down Becker. These were just teasers. The best is yet to come, he says, so he told me to hold off on ordering anything.

EDIT: Okay, four years. Last post 03-17-2005.
NHRA T/A is the overly self-critical photographer who traded his car for camera equipment and family life. So now he has to live his performance car dreams vicariously through his friends.

I don't think anyone knew me back then either.
I'm just a guy that sold his toy for a family sedan with car seats. Then used my camera to make me a little extra beer money so I could forget about the slow car I had to sell.

I dont want to sound like an a hole but it might be to late!

The angles are really nothing special, and the lighting is about the same.
I hope you do you have more to come, where the photography really makes the car stand out more.
Good looking Rides no doubt.!

I'd be real interested in hearing NineBall's thoughts, too. He has more experience. And this was actually the very first car shoot for this photographer, so I'd say things turned out pretty good all things considered. I will post a couple of the final prints once he's done with the post processesing. These were put up within a few hours of wrapping the shoot, so most of what you see was done in-camera.
As for the photos, I'm not a pro, but the artificial lighting that he's using seem to be aimed on the ground in some photos and the cars are left in the dark. But again, these pics are alot better than anything that I could take.

No A-hole detected.
I'm definitely not ready to start offering this to clients...yet..we'll see how I do on the next few outings. But right now, these were just for fun.
