Default Finally got me a LS1!!

Well saturday morning I sold my 96 TransAm. I had my eyes on a few LS1 TransAm's. On sunday I pulled the trigger on a 98 Bright Purple Metallic TA(One of only 84 painted that color). It needs bit a work, but you couldn't beat it for the price.
So we headed up to Killeen yesterday around 2pm. Got back around 1am.

I'll post up pics today when I get home.

It needs a little. But for the price I got it for I don't mind. The engine had a knock and it needs some body work. Im in the process of looking for a 6.0 to swap in it.

i've done a bit of research on the 98's and it seems they are slightly limited to certain swaps and performance parts.

be sure you can straight swap things over before purchasing. i know for a fact that the 98's have weaker rod bolts and a slightly lesser flowing head.

and i was told that i couldn't swap a 2000 LS1 engine into my car because i it wasn't compatible for some reason. i wish i could tell you precisely but i deleted the PM.
