The only reason I might put 'Dre at 1 instead of 1A is because he sees way more coverages rolled his way than Fitz does and he still came out with more catches for more yards. The Cardinals have another legit #1 receiver in Boldin so it's almost impossible to do that to Fitz.
Saved me some typing.

I'd have to put Andre at #1 IMHO....Teams all knew last season who the #1 threat was on the Texans and he still was able to put up the numbers he did...

Fitz is good but teams had to worry about Boldin on the other side...

Plain and simple....

C. Johnson is going to be good too...saw him burn the Texans last year!

Be interesting to see how M. Crabtree works out for whoever drafts him....

Andre is good. No debate about that, but the #1 receiver in the entire NFL? No.

I think some of y'all are obviously biased homers on this one.

I think the O-line will improve this year with the addition of a new coach. Bruce Matthews should be able to show them how it is supposed to be done.

I am predicting 10-6 but hopefull for something better.

Well, his numbers showed he was in fact #1 in the NFL last year. I'm sure we are a little biased too.

Bill Kolar is the new defensive line coach. Bruce Matthews was an O-Lineman.

There are tons of people outside of Houston who think Andre is better. Even during the playoffs when Fitz got to keep playing and 'Dre was watching people said he was better.

it may not be CLEARLY understod that AJ is better, but he IS better in most of the leagues eyes.

even on an 8-8 team with no legitimate 2nd WR, AJ put up the best numbers for any WR IN THE LEAGUE.

115 receptions (led league)
1,575 yards (led league)
13.7 average per catch

this guy was a monster. he was THE GO TO GUY for the Texans and people STILL couldn't stop him from "gettin his".

I think Kevin Walter is a legit #2. He did have 900 yards receiving. And O.D. helps a lot too by workin the middle of the field so effectively.

i expect great things from Walter and Owen Daniels.

hell, i expect 9 wins this year from the Texans. BUT, i think 11 wins will get them in the playoffs. i think they can have 10 and STILL miss

We could easily go 10-6 and not make the playoffs. Hell last season the Patriots went 11-5 and didn't make the playoffs. We have to start winning division games.

Yea, stupid typo. Thanks for the head's up.

I would like to see Ray Childress come in as an assistant D-line coach with all the pro bowls he attended.

gettin outta the hole at 4-1 would DEFINATLEY bring some attitude to this team. confidence going into the 6th and 7th week is key.

if LeBron James and Randy Moss ever had kids, Andre Johnson would be that kid
AJ is an awesome receiver. Gotta love his work on the field. What did you expect from a player who played in the 01 and 02 Championship games in college.

i would pretty much define him as a freak, much like LeBron. who else has the kind of speed and explosiveness at his size.

did you know that LeBron is pretty much 270lbs and pretty much is faster, stronger, more explosive and more athletic than anyone in the league.

the NBA is evolving right before our eyes. but this thread ain't about LeBron, it's about the Texans. AJ is the premier WR in the NFL right now. this year it's going to be a battle of WR's and i'm almost poitive, barring injury, that AJ will lead the league in catches and yards again.

that would be awesome if he could get about 11 or 12 TD's this year though
