No, sorry thanks for asking though.
You are seriously delusional!

For one, who would stop Hakeem from the Spurs? Let me see, Mr. Robinson.....already checked. Duncan lol.....

Who on the Lakers would have stopped Hakeem? Bynum, Gasol....please You forgot the one player that could lock Kobe down and that was Maxwell. Even Jordan said that Dumars and Mad Max where the only players that could contain him. Houston in 1

Lakers in 5.

No sense comparing a Rockets team that no longer exists to the current lakers team. If you wanna do that than the Hakeem and Cylde team couldn't match up with the Lakers for the 80's to save their life...argument done!

Man you are retarded, you act like hakeem was the best player ever. So you are saying that nobody could shut him down at all?? Do you even watch basketball or just read what happens in the paper the next day (assuming you can read and somebody is'nt telling you what I am saying and then you tell them what to type). Hakeem the dream, man you are dreaming for sure.

Name one player that consistently shut Hakeem down.

Ewing? No.
Robinson? No.
Mutombo? No.
Mourning? No.
Shaq? No.

This argument could possibly go on forever, there is no way we could ever come to an agreement. I judge a player on accolades, and that is why I don't care for him that much. Tell me who shut down Tim Duncan consistently or even Shaq. Shaq did say after Hakeem tore him up in the finals that he got outplayed so bad it was the second time in his life he cried but he was young.

You judge a player on accolades? Wow. What a terrible way to assess.

Well if the emperor wants me to know who he is he will put some clothes on then. I don't judge on accolades alone, but when it comes to an argument like this where you cannot say which player is better I always look at who has more titles, hence being more sucessful in my eyes. Who was better, Dan Marino or Troy Aikmen?

Look at their stats, individual accomplishments, abilities, and their game. The question who was more successful on a team is easy.

Seriously...wtf is going through your head saying crap like this?

Speaking of accolades and Hakeem Olajuwon, lets just throw them out there. I guess these are the reasons you "don't care for him that much"...since you "judge players on accolades".

Pull your head out of your ***.

Accolades
2× NBA champion (1994, '95)

2× NBA Finals MVP (1994, '95)

1× NBA MVP (1994)

2× Defensive Player of Year (1993, '94)

6× All-NBA First Team (1987, '88, '89, '93, '94, '97)

3× All-NBA Second Team ('86, '90, '96)

3× All-NBA Third Team (1991, '95, '99)

5× All-Defensive First Team ('87, '88, '90, '93, '94)

12× All-Star

Olympic gold medalist (1996)

Named one of the 50 Greatest Players in NBA History (1996).

Only player in NBA history to have won MVP, Finals MVP and Defensive Player of the Year awards in the same season (1994).

One of the 4 players in NBA history to have ever recorded a quadruple-double.

Olajuwon also won the rebounding and blocked shots titles in 1989-90, becoming the third player ever (after Abdul-Jabbar and Bill Walton) to lead the league in both categories during the same season.

All-time leader in blocked shots.

Olajuwon is also in the top ten in blocks, scoring, rebounding, and steals. He is the only player in NBA history placed in the top ten for all four categories.

All-time NBA Playoffs leader in total blocks with 472 and blocks per game with 3.3 per game.

Olajuwon ranks 7th all-time in steals and is the highest ranked center.

In 1989, Olajuwon had 282 blocks and 218 steals, becoming the only NBA player to record over 200 blocks and 200 steals in a season.

Olajuwon is one of few players to record more than 200 blocks and 100 steals in a season. As the all-time leader in this feat, he did it for 11 seasons (consecutively from the 1985-86 season to the 1995-96 season). The next closest is David Robinson, who did it for 7 seasons.

Olajuwon has recorded an NBA record six five by fives in his career.

Olajuwon was elected to the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame as a member of the class of 2008.

Now come on Ross, those aren't accolades. That is just bragging.

I mean, The Admiral had a slick fade haircut and Tim Duncan has a totally cool EMO look to him. Now those are accolades!

But of course being from San An like they are, they must be REAL proud of that empty Alamo Dome that was built to try to get a NFL team. I think they hold high school football games in it these days. It really shows how many people want to be in that dirt bowl of a lovely city.
