97 was a dope fiend. Ls1's weren't **** back in 98. The aftermarket barely existed.

even though i don't own the car, i still turn wrenches on it!!! Just cause I don't own the car doesnt mean that I dont know a **** job of tuning when I SEE IT IN PERSON. I did make a recommendation of NOT USING owen. I was there when WE took the car to get tuned. I agree with the others on getting the program and loading the tunes yourself. if you want it dyno tuned I would talk with Moe Bailey.

Uhh, I saw him tune mine in person and he did a great job. Don't go throwing around about Owen when he has been successfully been tuning LT1's for years and you don't even daily drive/partly drive the car he tuned.

how do you know that I dont ever drive the car? He doesn't even daily drive it. I have driven the car several times. So check your facts before you make any assumptions. I was just telling from OUR experience that WE had with him, and I would not recommend him.

Agreed, I digress, but it looks like you are the only one with bad experience with Owen.

I wasnt saying that all of his tunes are bad, just the experiance that we had with him. It's like when you get one bad waitress at a good restaraunt and you never want to go back, despite the rest of the year everything is good. We just werent very impressed that night.

what all mods do you have done to the car? If it is just bolt-ons I would just get the program and load the tune yourself.

few solutions, 1) buy the software and let Josh and Steven at LMR get it right for you, or Owen at ARD, 2) pull out the boat anchor and drop an LSx in it.....I opted for option 2 myself...

Hey smart *** I wasnt the first one to suggest using him.

I actually ended up saying to get the program and load the tunes himself. I said to just TALK with Moe, not take it to him. It is right there in the quote that you used from me. Don't know why your panties are all getting up in a wad

the guy you quoted posted that before the OP said his car wont idle! you suggested it after you already knew his car cant make it anywhere....your the one who was "gettin your panties in a wad" i do believe you started quoting me first. im not gonna hijack his thread anymore than i already have arguing with you. to the OP let us know where you decide to take your car, post some numbers when you get em!
