I wonder if drag suspension has anything to do with it. I did have my old lt1 hydro a long time ago.. luckily there were no walls or cars out because I slid off the road, down a hill, and onto the access road. No damage to the car, but it was raining so hard it took me a minute to even figure out where I was, I was just spinning, and sliding for god.. like 200 yards prolly.
and yea the suspension might have to do with it but im not sure though.

Yeah that was a bad storm that blew thru yesterday, we were in San Antonio yesterday and got caught outside in the weather. I hope everything works out with insurance etc. and thankfully you are alright.

I had the same thing happen to my 1999 procharged and cammed BSM WS6. Back in 2004 my wife (fiance at the time) was driving it on the I10 going around 45 in a severe thunderstorm and an 18 wheeler blew by going 75+ and caused the car to hydroplane into the fast lane and got slammed in the rear driverside quarter panel. Totaled the car.
