The next time that i got pulled over a trooper asked me if he could search my car. I told him no. He did it anyway and lucky for him he was pretty quick to close the lid. The dps does not mess with me anymore.

Where did you get a rattlesnake?

If someone were to get bit and die, I think you'd be liable on some level. I don't conniving would fly too well in court.

This is Texas. What do you mean where did I get a rattlesnake? I told him not to search the car. I guess he should have listened.

Love this story. Yeah you can find rattle snakes anywhere from San Antonio further west or south.

I see. We don't have any on this side of Texas. Did you just walk out in the backyard and pick one up? Isn't that a bit dangerous?

Snakes are a little extreme, and could kill you. How about next time an assortment of yummy donuts:

...and maybe some Bear Claw donuts. Maybe after a tasty snack they'll forget about giving you a ticket.

I don't know what is easier, leaving snakes, or doughnuts in your car...

I've done it before. Held baby ones in my hands....just don't **** them off or startle them and you're A-OK

edit-
DISCLAIMER: I do not suggest this to be attempted by anybody, anywhere. it was stupid and I was drunk at the time.

What's your likelihood of survival from being bitten by a rattlesnake or water moccasin?

If you are within an hour tops of getting some anti-venom then you will be fine. If not then things could get really ugly.....

The baby snake venom is more concentrated, so you have even less time. It also probably depends a lot from snake to snake... Not a great idea.

Hmm..... Wow Interesting responses and some very uneducated responses. Sounds like some very strong opinions in here. I am definitely outnumbered. Will hold my opinions to myself and move on to the next thread.

it's a shame, because your opinions are the ones that count, being as they would be the correct ones

Its not that it is more concentrated, the baby snakes cannot control how much venom they pump in to you.

Is snake anti-venom readily available in Texas? Would immediately trying to suck the bite help any?
