damn that sucks, I would say i could fix it but you said frames tweaked.

Man its bad the front end is shifted to the driver side a good 6". Its at groves auto body if u want to check it out

when was the last time that you had the wheel off and was it retorqued? if someone else worked on it and over torqued it you could go after them for it. they should be torqued to 100 ft/lbs

Well it's a good thing you came out ok. I've lost a wheel off my truck before but luckily I was going slow and it just ground to a halt. But that sux, on a better note I've seen a super clean black Camaro and a couple vettes on southeasttexas.com for sale. I thought about a vetter after my t/a got totalled in Ike but I had to go back with an firebird so I can put my kiddo in the back.

Ok insurance is giving me $9k for the car with a $2k buyback. I still owe $5k on it. So I think I'm gonna go ahead and buy it back

thought buybacks were 10% of the declared value so $900 should be the cost...a buds ranger was totaled and he paid 10% to buyback.

No, they are what the insurance company can get from a salvage yard... so they will charge you "salvage value" to buy it back... or in other words, they will deduct that "salvage value" from your settlement if you tell them you want to keep the car.
