nothing a lil suspension work can fix. any second gen on stock suspension is pretty scary at 130 mph at that point it feels like what 200 mph would be like in a 4th gen!

The funny part about the car is that it is one of the fastest cars I have actually "driven" and it takes me forever to get anywhere.
It's fun creepin' and showing off.

151 `99 Z28 I-15 Yermo to Barstow. Car was still accel. But the CHP aint no joke out there Bikes, Cars and Air. 
A buddy of mine was on the I-605 doing a test run in his built Vette CHP clocked him at 167 mph from an overpass my friend was unaware the CHP had gunned him but did pursue (Crown Vic vs a Built Vett) the officer figured it was pointless, this is what the CHP officer later told him-the problem was my friend came back in the other direction at 80 mph the CHP still sitting on the overpass radioed ahead (No car can beat that Motorola) and my friend was pulled over. The officer thanked him for coming back and arrested him. My friend got 10 days in jail 180 hrs community service and 5 years probation. he did get his car back, this was a few years ago today they would send the car to the crusher !

CTS-V = 150mph
Camaro = 170mph
I will never go over 150 in the Camaro again. The stock brakes at that point feel like you're sticking your hand out the window. The CTS-V will bruise your chest when you stomp on the Brembos, so it inspires much more confidence at high speeds.

I did 143mph in my camaro on the old carb 383 with a th350. It didnt have much more in it and at around 110 the windows sucked in and the car started to float. It got real scary as it took a long ways to stop on the stock brakes. Luckily it was on the hardy tool road.

178mph on my bike, speedo read like 182ish (u have to factor in since the speedo is off by a hair on all bikes), I just looked down for a split second

I agree, people always ask how fast I've gone. Im like WTF?
But to answer the question, the "fastest" I've gone in my current car(The TA) is prob about 80-85, I baby the hell out of this car. And don't really see the point of racing/driving fast on the streets.
