Read that last night. Couple years ago here by where I live some cop use to drive a Nice Z28 seized from Narcotics....

that was the d.a.r.e. corvette but yeea they seized it from a dope runner, they also had a i-roc z and a astro van with like 5000 watts in it. i was in elementary when the officer used to bring that vette up there and let all the kids drool on it.lolol

Alot of locals are b*tching about this car, but hey, I'm all for it. Car was taken from a drug dealer, so no cost, and now is in service for the county. Whats wrong with that? Alot of folks say they should auction it to buy more cruisers, but a fully equipped cruiser would cost more than the Z would go at auction. I think it's just sour grapes from the folks who have spoken out on this dept. NC's got alot of unmarked , performance oriented cars on the road, why single this one out?
