so when is texting going to be an 'included feature' in any standard plan? i think its BS that they charge as much as they do for something that consumes so little network bandwidth.
Because they dont have to. At&t and Verizon do not give everything away like t-mobile/sprint and cricket and yet we are still on top by a long shot. Its strategic planning.. and profitable to the company. Tmobile and sprint can give you their left arm, but can not give you the service. I would rather apologize for charging you for txt messages than apologize for sub-par service anyday. And most of the US agrees, as At&t and Verizon dominate the US still to this day. But ya never know, it may be included soon enough..
