To Answer your question, No, The medical Center Area is not the worst part of Dallas, Go down to Fair Park sometime, On Martin luther King Boulevard.
I still think the City of Houston is way worse....

MLK is always the worst part of town no matter what city it is in. And some of these posts in this thread make me think you guys have never been outside of your own neighborhoods.

I have not been impressed with any part of it I've been in since moving to tryto find work.

Moving to the dallas area has been the worst decision I've ever made I think. Of course I'm down in Grand Prairie/Arlington where no one speaks english, people climb the fence of our apartment complex, and drunk black guys knock on our door at 2am.

I really miss living in northwest Arkansas.

Me too, These guys working/living in the getto's and complaining about it. Change jobs if you don't like the part of town they send you to work in and/or move out. Might should have done some research before you moved in.

Theres your problem right there. I work in Arlington and wish I could shoot most the people that live there, along with most the people I work with.

After living in Oak Cliff my whole life, I learned one valuable life lesson as soon as I began driving: Knowing exactly where my window up button was without looking and learning to press it without hesitation.

My company has some leased space in the Infomart building. We have to go up periodically to do maintenance and such. Fortunately, it's only a couple times a year, and I don't have to go every time.

I work in this same area and just accept the fact. I park my car behind the gates to lessen the chance of theft avoid behind in the area after dark.
