Music video help!

ok this is what i was told. a guy and his GF walk out of a theater and the BF gets beat up by 3 guys and they kidnap his GF the BF wakes up and finds a note or something on yellow paper and he has a a silver case

haha no its not MJ this is a alternative/emo song i believe i know the video but i cant remember the name
