I hate performance cars Just when you think you have them fixed they break on your *** again. Just got myself a sweet new nitrous kit, got my new brakes installed.... less than a week later bam throw out bearing starts moaning I me F*CK wtf do the damn gods of motoring have against me
Luckily I had planned on doing a clutch soon... just not THIS soon. After swapping the trans out I was hoping it would stay in for more than 9 months before it came out again. Gonna buy a new clutch once I have the money and install it. But that means no driving the Firehawk until then
Hopefully setting up a techday for an install wont be too hard
I will provide beer and burgers for anyone that wants to help when the time comes

Damn man I though that car would have been running by now. Sucks when it's only a small part holdin you back. You back in town yet, I see you had a thread a while back where you had some roller rockers that you were waiting to install. Just hope they perform as nice as they looked.
To the original poster... it's always like this. I had a nieghbor that had an 86 c10 and swore that every race car leaked oil. If it didn't leak oil it wasn't a race car. I don't know what that meant but he was always working on it. I believe in doing everything right the first time and then there will be no looking back. Good luck on the swap.....and its only as hard as you make it.

I did a H/C at the end of May, converter gernated and tranny went with it. 4 days after new tranny, 2nd gear didnt want to play any more! I get the car back and someone keys the holy living **** out of the driver side. And I need gears too

lol i just got some kooks, went to the track to get some base times before i started modding and burned up the stock clutch and window motor the same night. along with the headlight motor acting up.
lets not even get into what happened to my truck after the 1st couple bottles. you dont remember your stock numbers do you?
