hey some friends of mine have Grand Prix's and they wanna join but theyll be at a small disadvantage due to FWD, there wondering if there will be a seperate street tire class for em? and yall dont laugh too hard zach has a new setup and i wont say how fast but hes gonna rape my camaro somthin terrible, so were not talking bout pos ricers, there cammed stalled etc.

were just wondering if theyll get a diff class or street tire means all street tire?
EDIT: or car they run there DR's in the street class?

just asking ahead of time, so they can get their wheel/tire setups in time.

If you have a battery in the back it must straped down. And have a proper on/off saftey switch from the out side of the car

Have recived a few questions about tires and classes. HPD will be working on making an approved tire list for each class. This way everyone understands what class they maybe in. There are always a few questions about certain tires that maybe a DR and a Street Tire. We will clear this up for you.

Yes sir we are aware of the BuzzFest. My father is on the board for The Pavilion (free tickets woo wooo) and I've been to 90% of the fests since 1994 when the first started. Plus I live in The Woodlands and drive by the Pavilion everyday. I see the advertisements on the marque. We don't think that BuzzFest will effect Midnight 1320. Funny thing is we have had Midnight 1320 on the same night has BuzzFest in the past.

Do you really want to pay for $12 beers? Listen to 14-16 year old kids run around all day and night? Walk through trash? Only 1 or 2 of the bands now-a-days are any good. You know you rather spend your time racing down the track. Hanging with some really good people. Getting in a few fun runs out to the track....and back. HAHAHAHA!

Either way we hope you make it to LMP on the Oct 24th. If Buzzfest wins then have a blast.

Update:

We have added a 2nd truck class. There will be a Street Truck Class and Drag Radial Truck Class.

- Street Truck Class:

1) 1 power adder! (special considerations maybe allowed on request to HPD Staff)

2) Full Interior - No gutted rides allowed! You are still a street truck. All racers must have working dash, front seats (if no back seats, must be carpeted), working head lights, signals, and wipers. RADIOS and A/C are not required!

3) Gasoline and Diesel Trucks.

- Drag Radial Truck Class:

1) 2 power adders!

2) Full Interior - No gutted rides allowed! You are still a street truck. All racers must have working dash, front seats (if no back seats, must be carpeted), working head lights, signals, and wipers. RADIOS and A/C are not required!

3) Gasoline and Diesel Trucks.

Thank you LS1-Techers!

Easy there big fella, i didnt say i was going to BuzzFest, meerly pointing out that it was that day. Racing always wins

I was trying to get a homegirl to go with ( to LMP) and she said she was going to the Fest, sucks to be her lol. I will pay $12 a beer, i do it every year at the O'Really Spring Nationals

See yall oct 24!!!!

PS: I called the track to clarify the battery rule, ARE NOT required to have External Battery switch! Batt must be securly mounted with NO MOVEMENT, in a box or on a Tray, thats it.
