Sorry I won't be able to help out, but you'll definitely need preferably wheel ramps and at the very least some jack stands. I cringe at the thought of someone crawling under the car with a scissor jack.

The best way to do things would be to get a couple of buddies to push the car for ya while you do the clutch drop thing to start it. Then drive it to wherever you have a better place to work. ... just my 2 cents.

I'll come to you this evening sir. Spoke to my wife and she is loading up tools in car now. I am available after 5:30PM. I'm only willing to help if your willing to learn and be involved in the process. Otherwise disregard my offer. One thing I can't stand are people throwing big $'s or bartering in exchange for continued ignorance. You would be suprised what you can accomplish yourself if you would just trust you can read/follow directions.

For future refrence the directions for basic automotive repair are FREE online for a number of vehicles thru your local library. (Yes you must have a library card to login!)

Go to http://sapl.sat.lib.tx.us/, click on databases, scroll down and click on Chilton Auto Repair Library, Login, enter Year-Make-Model, Search for repair instructions.

See you this evening!

I'll be calling you shortly. Thanks so much.
Unfortunately I don't have a brand new crispy $1 bill for you but... I can offer you and your wife dinner.
You bet I'll be helping you. I want to learn, I just lack the necessary tools. So anything that may be necessary, jack/jack stands, please bring if possible.
Thanks again!

Greaseymec: I have an LT1 shortblock pullout at my place with your name on it. Call me for directions (Live on 35S just before Lylte, TX). Jyes theres always a catch - I may need some trans. work in the unforseen future. All is well for now but 'tings 'appn ya' know. Lol Figured we could swap now for less $'s coming out my A$$ at a later date? Besides its just sitting under my work table covered up. Come get it!

Super-Bat: Got your message. At work still... confirmed all tools & 3 ton jack loaded up by ranch hands this afternoon in my wifes VDUB. Yah she's gonna love my explanation for that one this evening! Couldn't talk them into loading up the air tools/compressor for mechanic overkill. Lol Either way silly broken F-body won't know what hit it! Sure hope this starter issue gets you down the road again my friend. Call you just after 5:30PM!

Awesome! I sure hope so too!
You think we need jack stands? Or is that part of the tools you have already packed?
Man, I'm excited to finally be able to get the bird back on the road! I may have a small flashlight in my car, but if you have any spare ones, especially large heavy duty ones, they may be helpful! The parking lot is lit, but I doubt much light will get under the car. Hopefully this wont take too terribly long to knock out.

I think so. Looked fairly easy. If I didn't have Al's help, with all his tools and what not, I would've been there 3x longer and would've realized half way through... doh! I'm under the wrong side! hahaha
Thanks again Al!

Sure hope the next time this has to be done.... is a LONG LONG time from now!
