Anyone in SA able to help me install a Starter?
Free lunch!!
I'm at St. Mary's University. Culebra & 36th Street.
Let me know guys... I'd really appreciate the help.
The car is a 2000 Firebird V6.
Before I get "you're a noob" comments. Yes, I am a noob, and want this done right, and fast.
PM if you'd be able to help.
The best way to do things would be to get a couple of buddies to push the car for ya while you do the clutch drop thing to start it. Then drive it to wherever you have a better place to work. ... just my 2 cents.

Unfortunately I don't have a brand new crispy $1 bill for you but... I can offer you and your wife dinner.
You bet I'll be helping you. I want to learn, I just lack the necessary tools. So anything that may be necessary, jack/jack stands, please bring if possible.
Thanks again!

I just got back from picking up my brand new starter. Everything should be good to go for when you get here man. Again, I appreciate it so much! Give me a call so I can give you directions to get here. Thanks!
Super-Bat: Got your message. At work still... confirmed all tools & 3 ton jack loaded up by ranch hands this afternoon in my wifes VDUB. Yah she's gonna love my explanation for that one this evening! Couldn't talk them into loading up the air tools/compressor for mechanic overkill. Lol Either way silly broken F-body won't know what hit it! Sure hope this starter issue gets you down the road again my friend. Call you just after 5:30PM!
You think we need jack stands? Or is that part of the tools you have already packed?
Man, I'm excited to finally be able to get the bird back on the road! I may have a small flashlight in my car, but if you have any spare ones, especially large heavy duty ones, they may be helpful! The parking lot is lit, but I doubt much light will get under the car. Hopefully this wont take too terribly long to knock out.

Thanks again Al!
Sure hope the next time this has to be done.... is a LONG LONG time from now!
