Default Is there such a rim size. 17x12 ???

i just got a set. i measured them from outer lip to outer lip and the wheels measure 12inches wide. am i measuring them wrong? rims have an 8in offset from the rear and from the back plate to the front lip its 4 inches. maybe there 17x11s . they have 315/35/17 and they fit good.

I think you aren't supposed to include the bead surface...so those would be 17x11
