Talking Drift drift drift...

I used to be big into drifting back in 05-06...

I went out to my spot today in my C6Z for the first time.

1st Suspension Test: Max compression 16 clicks
2nd. Session: Front on 14, rear on 7
3rd. Session: Front 10 Clicks, Rear 5. IDEAL for wet drifting at least.

First off, when you adjust compression, you must consider and adjust rebound as well.

I didn't have time to mess with rebound but the car reacts crazy with the compression adjustments.

The car wanted to do lots of donuts because of improper throttle control and lack of speed. aka 1st gear.

BUT, when you are in 2nd and 3rd, the tires are spinning around 80-100MPH. It is way easier to balance. As you can tell at the end of my video.

Enjoy:

I was PRACTICING guys.... You should see me in "dry" conditions. :-)

The car has slicks on it, its harder to balance in wet conditions with the current set up.

I need to find a happy medium with the suspension for Drift set up.

Yes, I was doing donuts and drifting DUH!

I noticed it's still wet outside!!!!

I am not into drifting but whatever floats your boat. Hopefully your C6Z doesnt end up with both bumpers ziptied on like most drift cars i see.

drifting is badass.

But isnt a Z06 the totally wrong car to drift in?

also how did you get you steering wheel to free spin that well?

Got any vids taken from outside the car?

People on this thread are not drifting fans.... butwhat do you expect? this is a Domestic Late Model GM website. Late Model GM = drag racing fan base....

Find a wet parking lot and do the same style manuvers and see how fast your steering wheel does the same... just don't stick your fingers in there
