They looked good today! Schaub was not perfect as he had a few QB earned sacks but they did look good! Jacoby looked good except for that one drop! He needs to keep his eyes on the prize til its in his hands!

i agree wit ya, it seems that he has one great play followed by a blooper. he just needs to concentrate on the prize alot more, then take it to the house!

I literally said that to my brother that was at the game with me. He impresses me, then pisses me off the next play. The safety then the 95yard kick return was awesome. 9 points in like 15 seconds.

Good overall game for the Texans.
Schaub had a great game.

Cushing - 6 tackles, 2 forced fumbles and an interception...BEAST!

There's nothing gay about the name "Texan".

Well, there are a lot of football fans that would agree with me. I think they should have gone with something that represented the space or oil industry.

Regardless, its not a big deal. They are becoming a pretty good team even if they have a stupid name. They impress me even when they lose.

Peter King (Sports Illustrated) -
As I waited to speak with Matt Schaub Sunday after the game via phone, Texans media czar Tony Wyllie said to me, "Hold on. I'm going to put the NFL touchdown leader on the phone.'' He's right: Schaub 14, Brees 13, Peyton Manning 12, Brady 12, Favre 12.

They beat a pretty tuff Cinci team and most of the losses have not been total blowouts. The opener was painful, but considering the age of the team kind of expected.

I'll be at Reliant next week, first nfl game I've been to. Doing the tour and everything.

I agree with this. That would be like calling a team the Los Angeles Californians, the New York New Yorkers, the Nashville Tennesseeans or the Miami Floridians. It just sounds weird. I wish the team was called the "Houston Hurricanes". I think it was one of the final three or five names to choose from, but it obviously didn't get picked. It sounds a lot better than the "Texans".

Thing is about the Texans, you never know which team is going to show up from week to week. The one that showed up against the Jets or the Jags, or the one that showed up against the Titans or the Bengals? Who can figure this team out? They lack consistency and it will continue. IMO this will be Kubiak's last year and the Texans won't make the playoffs when Bob McNair has made it clear that he expects to be in the playoffs this year.
