Texans Thread
Kubiak's game management still puzzles me. It seems everytime we get a good lead, he wants to sit back and attempt to just burn up the clock rather than pour on the points. It doesn't work. If you are shutting a team down and putting up 21 points in the first half, DON'T CHANGE A THING IN THE 2ND HALF!

Sucks for the team, because I think every loss this year so far falls on the coach's bad decisions during crunch time and inability to prepare for a game or make proper adjustments.
This playing a half of football, then chilling out the other half isn't working either. Games where you are up 21 points shouldn't end up in you being on the edge of your seat hoping you can hold a 3 point lead.
Props to Kubiak for getting his team straightened out for the second half and for benching Slaton. If watching from the sidelines doesn't inspire Slaton to protect the football, I don't know what will.
Owen Daniels likely out for the season...F#CK!

texans punt returner jacoby jones is doing something i’ve never seen before in pre-game warmups.
typically before games punters and kickers are out on the field first to get a last gauge on how the weather conditions are affecting their kicks to inform the coaching staff.
They often punt ***** to their equipment managers who retrieve the ***** and get them back to the long snapper at the other end of the field as quickly as possible.
But their was an interloper today on the field. Texans punt returner jacoby jones ventured to the bills side of the field and began catching brian moorman’s punts in pre-game warmups.
I’ve got to give him credit to trying to prepare for what he’ll see in the game. It’s a bit of a bold move, but no one chased him out of there. Jones will be that much more ready for a moorman punt.
