We were at Little Woodrow's watching the game. There was a handful of Tech guys in there that would be the only one screaming when something went their way. 
We also went to the Astros game and left before the 8th inning. There were so many ridiculously gorgeous women there and in Midtown. My buddy got two numbers.

We rushed the field after the conference USA championship, third ward son. It was really great to see people this excited about U of H athletics. The academics at the school have been getting better and better, more programs are being recognized nationally and they have been fighting for Tier 1, but having winning athletics does wonders for student life and bringing back alumni participation. Some thing U of H sorely needs to improve.

Isn't that equivalent of say Tech rushing the field after beating an unranked Baylor team?? Doesn't make any sense to me 
We blew this one hard (that's what she said)! Why we go for it on 4th and 1 from the one yard line, with a QB who has only been able to make that one yard all season is beyond me! A field goal would have sent us in overtime!
terrible play calling. I won't bitch and moan about the refs saying that TD play was dead (even though there was no whistle blown before he got in the endzone), because the crappy calls went both ways all night and we could have still won in spite of that play.
Congrats on the win though! Yall should move up to 12th or so with the crazy upsets at the top of the charts this weekend! GL the rest of the season!

In 1997, I watched the following teams tear down their goalposts:
Oklahoma State - Quick, efficient.
Missouri - Couldn't figure out how to use leverage.
Baylor - Ran the wrong way with the goalpost, and ended up having to run all the way back across the field.
That was a crappy year for UT, but standing there watching other schools celebrate after beating your school makes you appreciate how nice it is to at least be competitive every year.

Yea, I get the fruition factor there....and was glad they did not tear down the goal posts (at least not while the cameras were rolling) because it's expensive and destructive to the school and its reputation. Still strange to see it rushed when beating an unranked team though!
