The trailer has about 4000 lbs tongue wieght. Makes apretty nice ride. The front suspension is what kills the ride. Leaf springs on all 4 corners. the truck turns almost as good as my 94 Bird, only about 5-6 wider.

These go in the trailer-white 68 Bird is mine and the blue 71 Camaro is my wifes

At 44,000 lbs you should be using a different truck. Can it do it? yes. Bagged Duallys are nice. The other way (jacked up) is about as dumb when you never take it off road. Cant hook up to that gooseneck with a 10inch lift running on 48inch tall tires.

It depends on how you set your truck up... You can set a truck up where it can haul that much weight and still lay out... I have seen several petes that lay frame and still haul.

yeah as long as you have the tongue weight correct, and everything. But still lets be real, when you hauling that much weight things move, and if your laying rail your gonna scrap... each to his own.

I'd like to see a dually slammed hauling 45k in weight and not scrape....

IMO Diesel trucks should be raised and V8's should be lowered.

I used to get the same comments from the haters when I had slammed 1/2 tons. It's the same **** "it defeats the purpose of the truck".... yeah maybe yours. It will still tow the boat, the travel trailer, toy hauler with bikes and the list goes on for my family's purposes. You guys are right its a lot of $$$.

Idk, I think they are cool. Not sure why but they just look so awesome. I would like to have one with a 10 inch lift and one slammed. I don't see why people should care, it's not your truck so **** off.

Have you ever heard of a helper bag?? People install them on their tow pigs to help handle extreme loads... Air ride can handle just as much if not more than stock suspension. People get facts about air ride misconstrude. The only downfall with airride setups is the fact that a bag can blow out, and your lines can freeze up in the winter. If you have a good air water separater setup it eliminates one of those factors, but you can blow a tire out on a stock truck anyways... If you have ever ridden in a bagged truck you would know that it is one of the most comfortable rides possible. I would take the hazard of blowing a bag for the comfort and sleekness of a slammed truck anyday!!!

Nice truck but instead of dropping it I'd jack it up.

i dont think it matters what he does to it if he doesnt plan on going offroad, i love a dually jacked up but i also think they look awesome lowered too. everyone picks a vehicle for different reasons. i think bagged s10's are a waste but i like bagged duallys. id never do it, but im not gonna be disrespectful to someone who wants to by telling them their truck looks gay lol i mean, u dont by a challenger cuz they are fast right?

Can't wait to see it, I really want one now lol. From what I have seen, the chevy trucks look the best lowered. Dodge's and Fords look better lifted.
