Never a bolt in the head. But the studs/nuts connecting the manifolds to the cats, snapped more than one right off.

Default header install

Pulling the manifolds off and throwing long tubes on as I text but was wondering how many bolts/screws were in each coil pack rack. I have 7 off on the passenger side and unpluged the harness and wired and it still won't give. Am I missing anything?

i had 5 bolts on each side, pass. and driver... did you get the very back bolt right by the firewall? that one is def. a bitch, it took me longer to do that bolt then to get the pass. side spark plug out or the manifold bolt... lol but im pretty sure i only had 5, what year is your Z?

I had 5 on there but I had to pull the 4th coil pack to see the last bolt. I got both manifolds out last night and tried to the passenger side header in and it slipped right in but when I tried to bolt it up the bolt pattern and header just looked a bit off.

Its a 2001 and I'm using pacesetters. Anybody else have this problem before?

I've installed 3 sets of the pacesetter lt's with no problems. The only thing I had to disconnect was the steering shaft. I left every thing else in place. Bolts always lined up fine for me.

I broke the head off on a 100k car (that sucked). Sprayed PB blaster on the rest of the bolts and had no problems. You'll be fine since yours have been soaking for the past couple days

I already installed them. Turned out to be I panel on the bottom in my way. Bent it and they slipped in with ease. Also got my k member and other parts put in still more to do but the k member is an a**load of work and well worth the reward lol.

I just pulled my ac delco iridiums out and they were pretty good. Only had them for about 2500 miles but figured I might as well with my new setup. Went with ngk iridiums. Ngk enough said. Have my cam, intake/tb, nitrous and rest of suspension to get in and see what she does.
