Default Budget Wheels/Tires = Better Look

Found a cheap & decent set of C5Z06 w/ tires. Simple change from 16" to 17", but makes the car look a ton better. Looks better out the back with the wider tires than the skinny 245s too!

Huge improvement!

What did you end up spending on them.. Plans to lower it?

Thanks! $500 for everything. Tires are all BFG KDWs w/ ~60%+ tread.

Definitely want to lower it. I'll do exhaust before springs/shocks so I can see how much clearance there is w/ long tubes.

Still wanting to step up to those RPM 505s!

Damn, that is a killer deal!!

Ahhh, can't wait to see it lowered, very nice looking car already!

I wanted C5Zs to begin with but buying brand new tires and rims were the same price with either I went with.. Wasn't a hard decision, no offense.

I did the old style BMR springs in the front and heater hose the stock springs in the rear. Ended up spending 100 bucks for the entire drop which was right at an inch all the way around and I have gotten LOTS of compliments. I got a set of bilstein SLP spec (valved for 1 inch drop and spring rate of stock style springs) shocks new for 300 to do at the same time....basically 400 bucks for springs and shocks.

Rides great and has PLENTY of ground clearance, even for my 1 7/8 Kooks with 3" CATTED ypipe and UMI 3-pt SFC.

This afternoon were you over by Walmart at 59 and West Airport. Saw a car that kind of looks like yours.. Looks really good by the way...

Nope - car hasn't left the garage all day. Probably won't take it out all week with the rain forecast. 130K mile garage queen.

Thanks for the compliment!
