Highly unlikely. There will be a lot of cars with much more expensive and more highly developed engines fighting for the title.

Nope. Too many unfinished projects. My G8 is too slow and all the other cars have motors waiting to be finished at HKE. I'll have my 35mm handy though.
See you there!

Hey guys, I only post here from time to time, but I logged on to see if any other Houston/San Antonio people are going? I go by winters97gt here, the mustang boards, and at corvetteforum. I will be driving my black 03Z06, but I missed the registration. I've got a nikon camera/sony video recorder/and a tripod.
I don't know anybody here, or at Corvetteforum personally, but I would like to meet some of you guys. If you don't mind, post some pics of your cars if you will be out there, so some the newbs can get to know everybody.
Also, I had a question, since I have not been. The rules state this
Are you not allowed to bring alcoholic drinks? If you can, how do you keep them cold? I have also heard that a lot of guys do use their own pits to cook on. I would like to bring my own pit since some others do, but I have no problem supporting the concession stands if they are firm on this rule. Weather looks great on Saturday! Can't wait!
Mark

9. Concessions: Sold onsite: Reasonably priced & great food and drinks. No alcoholic beverages sold onsite. Do not bring in a cooler or Bar-B-Q pit.

Too bad there haven't been any ridiculously built LSX cars at the Texas Mile, unlike the supra guys who take out all the stops with SW's car and the like.
What was the most powerful LS car last year? The lingenfelter C6Z or the LGM C6Z? Both somewhere around 1000hp with a turbo LS7?
Man, I would love for a shop to take a twin turbo LSX anything to the texas mile.
