The MTI car ran Friday I believe and supposedly had an ERL block with 500ci. Full dedicated race car with fiberglass/carbon everything, gutted, improved aero.
The FD RX-7 had a stock body with some taped up edges and no mirrors on the last day. I made the 1st pass in it as a shakedown run and badly messed up the shifting. Went 2nd to 5th gear and decied to keep my foot in it. Still did 188mph. I'm pretty sure we (MAS280 and I) were the fastest n/a street car there. It has a/c too! The car is his and hauls ***!

I drove my car out to the Goliad County Airport today with temperatures in the mid 70's. Slight head wind, (10-15mph I would guess), out of the North Northeast. The car ran 187.10 naturally aspirated with the Michelin Pilot runcraps on it. I am hoping to have a video of the run emailed to me in the next few days so I can post it. I should have the timeslip posted in the next couple of days as well.
