ok a stupid question
ok a stupid question I got a ticket for cutting through the parking lot. I was guilty yes, but my intended path was blocked off. I dont travel the area much and there was huge construction, and i tried to go a certain way, but there was a wall i couldnt see
... cops got me and i tried to explain my situation but he was a dick, and popped me for no front plate, and cutting through. He told me i should know my way around here by now, and blah blah blah Now i have no other choice because i have taken DD and been on probation in the past 12 months, so i was going to try to fight it?? I was always told if you request a court date, and the Cop doesn't show up, its an automatic dismissal? is this true? if he does show up, you just have to pay the fine right? and all i have to do is put the plate on and show em rightto get that one dismissed? thanx guys

Worse case scenario you have to pay the ticket, request the court date and if they are as busy as Houston chances are that the cop wont show up and in Houston it gets dismissed, also if there is still construction go take pictures of the construction and the parking lot etc... cant hurt.
IF i went on probation in, uh, Early may, and my probation jsut got up as of today. could i go on deferred judification again? i thought it had to be a year, but maybe im mistaken?

tryin to fight it and get out of it that way is a win win for you...the best thing that happens is you go to court and the cop doesnt show up and the ticket is dismissed. or he does show and you hope the judge understands. or at worse your in the same position your in now and you have to pay the fine.
also IDK where your located but most larger cities (houston dallas ect) most of the cops dont show
