Blue Angels, Air show free Hello to all, I just wanted to let people know about the air show in town this weekend. I take my family every year it is always great. It is this weekend at the alliance airport. On 35E about 10 minutes south of the nascar track. I live in north richland hills, and have seen one of the blue angels fly over today, and a ton of military planes. If you are interested the airshow is free. But it will cost you 20$ to park. There is always a ton of stuff to do and see, a ton of planes on the ground some you can even get into, (the b-52 bomber is giant, if you have never seen one you wouldnt believe it). They always put on a killer show, last year they had a hornet right on the edge of the sound barrier, you could see the vapors and hear it growling. This year it is the Blue angels flying, they alternate year by year with the thunberbirds, I have been to multiple shows and the thunderbirds are terrific but the Angels are just flat out awesome.
Just letting you guys know, it is a great time with the family and if you have never been you need to go, it will floor you. the show is 9 am to 5pm PLAN ON IT TAKING AN HOUR TO GET OUT OF THERE the parking is always a mess, but the show is so worth it.
