where are yall guys doing 1/4mile runs at I still cant find it.

 

There's two places, one is the Benchmark Ring and the other is Sedona Park. Scroll to the end of the track configurations and you'll see 1/8, 1/4, 1/2 and Mile.

 

Go to free play>select Sedona park>scroll to the right and you will find the drag tracks

 

Keep playing there is a drag racing mode but its very restricted and kinda boring.

 

Anyone who wants to have a fast drag racing car, then buy a Datsun 510. Do an AWD conversion, and RB26 swap. Get all the weight reduction you can get, a wide sticky tires, and you will be a contendor.

Call me a ricer, but I love the old school jap cars. The 510 looks bad *** lowered, on some black Fiskes, with that ugly old school brown paint.

Fastest RWD time I have seen online has been with a 997 gt2. 10.37

 

Its not fair even with 315's out back i still spin like a ****. I know for sure that my z is faster than the fox body because I reel them in like its nothin but by the time it happens the race is over. I mean seriously 17psi in the rear tires what more could i do?

You need a better tune. My T/A with 660hp runs 11.1 and with it around 800 it does a 10.8.

What do i click on to go to a game about to start or already in process? I didnt see that option on my screen?

That's exactly what I did.

Played it only a couple hours .. got a 3rd gen GTA with ~ 750hp... haven't tried to drag race it yet.

 

ok so this is the first forza game i have ever had. LOVING the brake assist LOL. ne ways, how the HELL do you paint stripes ont he 4th gen? i tried fooling around but almost broke my controler.. ne help would be greatly appreciated. Is there a way to buy tunes and grapics premade from other users?

 

My 900 horsepower ZR1 runs a 11.1 LOL, my datson 510 runs a 9.2, and my Turbo shelby runs like a 12.2.

 

I lost to that car last night!!!!! My buddy has it and destoryed my camaro!!! I got his *** tho......

 

if you want a fast car without swapping drivetrains try the Mine's R34 skyline, if you tune it right it will do 8's. i learned that in this game anything other than AWD is going to suck ***** in the drag rcaing portion. although you can build a AWD shelby, might be worth looking into. i'm having to much fun going through the events and building random cars from a lower PI and going race the S class cars.

 

found the sedona park.where is the benchmark ring?is there a dyno also?

 

Its not worth looking into. That car becomes too heavy.

If you want to go fast you need a light AWD car. A Datsun S30 with AWD swap might be worth looking into. You could also see if you could do AWD swaps on some of the smaller European cars like a Fiat or something.
