Thumbs up COD Modern Warfare 2 Tags
Picked it up last night. Anyone get the invite to work for LAN parties? I keep inviting friends and couldn't seem to get it to work.

Only played online so far but the graphics are awesome so far.

LAN = Local Area Network... meaning they need to be hardwired together (or by router of course)

Try doing a soft reset of your system. Mine had to download 2 updates and reset twice.

there is also an update option in the ps3 OS. I had the same issue with Resistance 2 and and update fixed the issue.
