My youngest brother is going to propose to his fiance and wants a good place to do it.

Northwood Inn is closed, I think Water Works is too. I think DiamondBacks may be your best/only choice in Waco.

Go all out man, a drive to down town fort worth is about 70-80 minutes.
That blows the doors open for options. My pick is the petrolium club, or
texas de brazil, in down town fort worth.

Head south to Austin, plenty of places.

If I was doing something like that, would go to the Driskill, stay a night (usually where governors stay and so forth, on 6 street). Eddie V's on 5th is one of my favorites.

Well Issue is he is a college Student at Baylor and wants to do this on monday, so an overnighter will not work with classes. Diamond Backs sounds like the best bet. I have been there once and it was pretty nice. I was just hoping for something a little further from the college scene as he is renting a limo.

Cheeves also has their own Limo service. I think they will come and pick you up in Waco and drive you down.

Taco stand on 12th near Sally Mae projects. Or Pop Walton's on La Salle for the greatest pork chop plate in Texas.

Might not be the ultimate, but we've done anniversaries and birthdays at Sabas' Cocina in downtown area. Linen tablecloths and napkins, but byob.
Best of luck to the couple!

Jeff
