Aquiring a title

Aquiring a title I am about to pull the trigger on another project and the car I am looking at doesn't have a title, which is a 70 Mustang Fastback. How do I go about getting a title? I am going to run the VIN first to make sure it's not stolen or anything. So yeah, how do I get it and what's it cost? My mom did it before but it was a friends of a cousins uncles brother type thing and it took about 6 months, it was just a total pain in the ***.
texas auto title in dallas does it. talk to Jackie-214-309-9595. all we had to do for our 69 camaro was send in 2 pics and tell her what the value was (the cheaper the better). it took about a month to get it back. she sent the packet that needs to be filled out and then took care of the rest. it cost about $450 and we had the value at $500.

I just contacted the guy and he already started the process, does it really take up to 6 months?
Also is there any way I can drive the car until I get the title?
