So, your saying you had to do a stroker motor to keep up with cam only LS1 cars?

hay i haz 1 of those


and yes my 68 needs a 383 stroker and 3.73's to keep up with my cammed bolt on's ls1. crazy huh? but my ls1 has more tire and less gear which means more traction out of the hole. soooo...it just depends.

No I had to do a stroker motor to outrun cammed LS1 cars. I love being treated like an underdog. Only an idiot would think that mod vs mod an LT1 would have a chance. But once you tear down into an LT1 the stakes even up a closer.

I would own a LS1 trans am but T-TOPS are ****** GAY
I will stick with my boat anchor with the worst design known to man for distributor before I own a t-top car.

Do you tune them yourself?

I tune my own carbed 383 with the distributor where iit is supposed to be.

Many hurt feelings, with 2.73 gears, cammed LS1 got fucked up. After 1st gear of course.
