also what is the going rate to hot tank a block and get it line honed as well as install new cam bearings
or would this rotating assem. be better. btw. this is a super budget college build.
i plan to arp the bottom end.. mains and with that kit the rods are also arp'd. would this not be a good setup? if i run nitrous it would only be a 100shot.. thats a big if..
would this not be a reliable cam only setup?

im going to run the cc306 and do ported heads later on. before anyone tries to talk me out of it.. i already ran this cam in my old car and loved it..

you want a honest opinion? there is no such thing as building a car on a budget. If you're in college and have a budget, then you don't need to be building a car. Maintain it, fix what needs to be fixed and save your money for that 396. Small parts add up fast and there is always unseen problems that arise.
